💖The History of Get In Touch💖
Everything changed for Mary Ann Wasil on February 4th, 2004. The moment she felt a lump on her left breast, she knew life was about to take her on a journey she never expected.
After processing her cancer diagnosis, it was time to sit down with her daughters and offer a lesson. No one ever taught Mary Ann how to perform a breast exam, but she would make sure her daughters were informed.
Once her daughters learned the proper technique for a self-breast exam, it was time for the rest of the world's daughters to learn.
🌸🌸🌸The Daisy Wheel 🌸🌸🌸
Mary Ann, along with a team of medical professionals, designed the Daisy Wheel to save lives. The wheel is available as a physical product to distribute to students and as a free app.
It elaborates on the eight essential steps of a breast self-exam. Imagining your breasts as a daisy, you use different amounts of pressure and doctor-approved methods to search for anything out of the ordinary, such as lumps or bumps.
Routine breast exams are the most reliable way to find cancer early and get treatment before the disease grows.
